Hey, I just learned that Downtown OKC has a college! OKC Downtown College gives you the opportunity to conveniently pursue that college degree, improve your professional skills, or take a break and do something for fun. Classes are available during the lunch hour and right after work and most of the classes are located in the beautiful Downtown Metropolitan Library, and when appropriate some also utilize the OKC Art Museum, the Civic Center. Can you think of a more beautiful setting for language classes, art classes or history classes?
The OKC Downtown College is a consortium of public higher education institutions offering college credit at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO), Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC), Oklahoma State University – OKC (OSU-OKC), Redlands Community College (RCC) and Rose State College (RSC)
You can see the complete schedule of classes online, but just as one example…how about sitting in a beautiful room in the downtown Library learning the History of Europe 1500-1815, with a trip to the OKC Art Museum to visit the Princely Treasures exhibit?
The OKC Downtown College also offers Fitness and Dance Classes and FREE lunchtime seminars every Tuesday.
Don’t tell Andy, but I’m gonna sign us up for Ballroom Dancing!
Free parking is now available for evening classes.
